Redmi Smart Band Pro is a feature-rich device. It comes with multiple sensors to monitor heart rate, blood oxygen levels, stress, sleep, and menstrual cycle for women. The smart band can be used with Android phones and iPhones. You need to download the Xiaomi Wear app to pair it with a phone.

The fitness tracker interface is simple. Similar to other fitness bands, there are four main gestures that support navigation: swipe left, swipe right, swipe up, and swipe down. Basic features such as step count and calories burned work well and are accurate. He was able to ignore accidental hand movements and count them in the final step count.

There is a relaunch function which worked very well. The fitness band’s screen would light up quickly every time the wrist moved. But it might be inconvenient for some. Heart rate monitoring on the fitness band was also accurate. Redmi Smart Band Pro offers continuous heart rate monitoring which may not be necessary for all users as it impacts the battery life of the smart band. One can also opt for periodic monitoring depending on the use case. SpO2 tracking was also accurate. It can also be used to monitor blood oxygen levels during sleep, which brings us to another smartband feature: sleep tracking. Redmi Smart Band Pro monitors sleep quality through four stages: awake, light sleep, deep sleep and REM. Sleep data as well as other health statistics can be found in the Xiaomi Wear app. Lightweight, it was comfortable to wear while sleeping. Stress monitoring with guided breathing and menstrual health tracking are other features of the device. Women can record their menstrual cycle and track it using the smart bracelet. Related information such as ovulation and fertile days can be accessed through the Xiaomi Wear app.

During our review, we found that the Redmi Smart Band Pro can automatically detect workouts – walking, treadmill, and running, as the company claims. However, there’s no GPS on the device, which means the distance data collected by the smart band isn’t foolproof.

The smart band can be worn for water activities like swimming and 13 others as claimed by the company. Additionally, users have a handful of customization options with over 50 pre-set watch faces in the Xiaomi Wear app.
